    Rebounds are returning to U.S., Inbounds are going home to their own country.

    OC
    Current year's returning Outbounds become Rebounds. Contact them to welcome home and inform of upcoming orientation in August. Current Outbounds should be checking travel arrangements, insurance, passports and visas ready. Some students may be leaving this month to a few countries.

    OC
    Check-in with new outbound student/family every couple of weeks to insure all is going well with travel plans, visa, language studies, and communications with host families/club.

    IC
    1st host family should be making contact with inbound student. Start making transportation arrangements to and from the August Inbound Student Orientation and Raft Trip.

    Rebounds are doing their re-assimilation, Outbounds are leaving the U.S., and Inbounds are arriving in US.

    Be sure to obtain the Bolduc/CISI heath insurance, or make sure that the insurance that the Inbound Student came with meets Rotary standards/District 5130 requirements. (There must be a claims office in the US, and there must be some documentation that demonstrates proof of coverage to the counselor and the district chairperson for their files.)

    MANDATORY Inbound Student Orientation and Raft Trip. MANDATORY, if possible, Rebound students de-briefing (from last year. We undertand if this conflicts with your new college's orientation or schedule.) MANDATORY new counselor training session. (See Master Calendar)

    Rebound students should make presentation to your club. They are invited to Orientation with Inbounds. Post flyers on school campus and make preliminary applications ("short form" as posted on this website) available in school office or other suitable location

    Begin looking for outbound students interested for the next calendar year. Set dates for high school informational meetings. Post flyers on school campus and make preliminary applications ("short form" as posted on this website) available in school office or other suitable location

    Inbounds 1st Qtr. Report is due. Make transportation arrangements to and from Petaluma for the October San Francisco trip. Consider whether you want to be a driver/chaperone for the weekend.

    Set up interviews for students interested in going abroad next summer and check with your outbound student during the month and the during the year.

    MANDATORY
    Inbound trip to San Francisco for all Inbounds. Usually occurs the first weekend of the month. Inbounds should make presentation to your club or have committed to doing so soon. (See Master Calendar)

    Finalize the Candidate selection for next year's outbound. Assist and prompt candidate in completing outbound application. Submit application to the District Chairman by DECEMBER 15.

    Inbounds 2nd Qtr. Report is due. Arrange for Christmas Gift from club to Inbound Student. Start making transportation arrangements to and from the Shasta Ski Trip. (See Master Calendar)

    Mail card from club to Outbound student. Assist and prompt candidate in completing outbound application.

    Make reservations and arrange transportation for the January Mt. Shasta Ski Trip & First Outbound Orientation. This trip is MANDATORY for all inbound and candidate students.
